my tank evaporates 5gallons every 7 days. will this pump have enough output to keep up evaporation? since It only comes on for 3 minutes a day

There on sale right now at marine depot. Also the jbj only runs for 3 minutes at a time but will come on every time the float switch is low. I had one with the Tom's aqua lifter on my 125 and never had a problem.

The jbj has a screw inside that can be adjusted to allow it to run longer than 3 minutes.  It can run upto 12 minutes.  If it doesn't pump enough in that time to reset the float switches then it will error and stop running.  There  are
videos on YouTube.

I never found how to adjust from 3 minutes to 12, but surprisingly I didn't have to, it has been keeping up just fine turning on a few times a day I just have the one sensor hooked up so whenever it gets low it comes on for even less than the 3 minutes at a time
