I need to build a sump for my 75g i will be using a 30gallon tank i was wondering if anybody could post some pics so i could get some ideas.

Mike's is almost identical to mine. I would add another short
baffle on the left to keep micro bubbles away from the pump intake.
Run a skimmer, far better use of space than running bioballs.

So if i built mine like that i could later use the middle for a refugium, thanks for the reply's they help out a ton.

That is correct. You could also use it for a refugium right away!

Why not use the best technology we know of for filtration now, instead of waiting. Fish do extremely well, get less disease and not only survive but flourish in the water filtration that a full reef tank offers. An RDP Refugium is really quite easy as you will find as you look into it further.
Also, I believe it's essential for newer hobbyists to create a thread here asking who lives nearby, to go see their setup for help and ideas.
BTW, I always use a very simple refugium which is just a tub with water going in and out and a light over the top of algae called Chaetomorpha which grows like a pad of steel wool. I have pics but I'm not at my home computer so post a reply here reminding me to post pics later.

Above is an 18 gal tub used for the RDP Refugium of my system consisting of a 75 gal in the window and 40 gal coral frag tank. Note the Mangroves and Chaetomorpha.
Below is a 40 gal breeder tank used for the RDP of my 120 gal suspended reef with Ray, Batfish and TR Clown, all three visible in the bottom pic.
Here's the whole thing:
What you don't see in this pic is the 1300gal/hr closed loop pump sitting on a shelf that is hanging from springs underneath the 120 and well above and out of the way of the Sump/RDP Refugium. BTW, no skimmers were used on either of these systems.

I'd say no. Reefs.org tries putting together classes like that, but I don't think you could get anyone to sign up.

As members of the WMAS, the individual learning that we receive from each other during our own mini reef tours is far more valuable, even priceless, IMHO.
