We just had a water softener installed and I wanted to share my findings ...

My RO/DI TDS before the softener was around 102 ppm ... now with the softener is down to 19 ppm ... Smile

I am curious as to see what others have found with there softeners ... good or bad ..

Thanks

Cool.
I know this has been an issue for you from the beginning. It's great that you found a way to reduce the TDS. Thumbs%20Up

ya I am pretty stoked about it! ... its showing 000 now .. I dont know if that is totally possible ... but thats what its showing ...

Anyone have any TDS calibration fluid?

BTW .. if anyone is interested superior water is where I went .. they give you a 30 day free trial for the softener and a RO unit ... and you can rent them both for about 40 bux a month .. the only thing you have to pay for is the salt and the rental fee of course ...
