Local supply company has stocks of M57 (fires 175 wat bullbs) and M58 (fires 250 watt bulbs) ballasts for $52 and $56 (Mogul sockets $14.00 crap bulbs for $14.76 probably 4k). They are also able to get MH bulbs, they can order Ushio, and may be able tog et other brands as well.

He needs to call the supply guy.  I'll get back to you on that once he gets with me.  HE was prety striaght forward with thte prices.  The big thing is they just don't stock the high K bulbs, so he didn't know.

I'm not familiar with the M58's....Electronic or Coil? I'm kinda holding out for the electronic, but if these are small and cooler I might think about it (has to mount to my canopy.

They are the coil ballast. The m58 is the ballast I was selling at the last meeting. I still one have one that is already wired and in a box for $35.00
