As I live in Cedar City, I can't make it to the meetings, however, if I ever do make it up that way I'd like it to be worth my time, and to not have all the frags that I would pick up die on my way home.
Is there even in existence a battery operated heater, or a plan to build one, so that I could put  a cooler in the trunk and keep it heated for a 4 or 5 hour trip?

Thanks

Randy

You could use a DC inverter and plug a normal heater into that. You can get them at radio shack.

If you use a good styrofoam box or a cooler they will easily survive the trip back down to Cedar.

i agree, a good cooler should be more than sufficient.  if the use of heat packs concerns you in getting too hot you could also just fill up the dead space in the cooler with water from your tank that is the proper temp.  larger volume of water means less rapid temp change.
