I actually just had a conversation the other day about the use of it and if people still do.

I dont see it very often but i do know that a handful of people on the board still do use ozone and have great successes with it.

Still trying to talk my wife into your tank her response was you can have that tank after you build me a bigger house and Dion does all the woodworking so in short I need to play the lottery because She has expensive taste in what she wants for location and size

Well after tomorrow my new build begins in earnest and I love the look of a tank with Ozone so after I pick up a skimmer ozone is next on my list

Running about 25 mg/hr in your skimmer can do wonders for helping to prevent disease outbreak.  Water clarity and better skimming.  I even keep a backup ozonizer on hand just in case.

Resurrecting this thread for a question.

I've been out of the hobby for about a year and I'm looking to get a new ozone unit. What is everyone out there using? I see some very expensive aquarium specific units and some cheap ebay units...thoughts?

Cheap ebay units for me.  Also, I have a few redsea ozonizers that I picked up here used.
