looks great so far, bristle worms are good for your tank, but if your like me you will take them out no matter what. i use a turkey baster and suck them out of the rocks when i see them. or if they are out in the open i use tweezers. dont touch them...
pitiful guppy tank.

The only reason is if your wigged out by them or if they get large. (6 inches or so)

Yeah, i will keep them. They only cruise at night...at least for now.  Anythoughts on the Zoo's. It looks like the green and orange are staying stron, while the blue and green and others are losing color.  They are at the bottom of tank, but i feel they are getting more light than their previous tank.

Here you go!

Okay I added some more pictures. some frags, a true perc (how inventive), and a shrimp. So here are some pictures.

Since I got going I took of the plastic support beam on the bowfront, because My MH was right over it, and it was cutting out a solid portion of the light and leaving a big shadow in the tank....It bowed out even more on the bowfront. So i drilled some holes, and put some strong zipties and pulled it back together.  Just to make sure its supported and for peace of mind.
Heres the shady ziptie job, that got rid of the shady top. Horrible joke i know.

here is the before and after shots of the tank before cut top, and after with the dark area in the middle removed.
BEFORE
after (also you can see a bunch of snails and hermits i got doing their lifelong duty of keeping me happy.  Some cheap slave labor.

Heres the new perc.....I have been feeding him and sitting so much in front of the tank for the past week he pretty much knows me.  I cant put the food in before he starts eating. So i finger feed him, So no food is lost.

Him doing his thing
Heres peppermint shrimp...he's silly he hid out for first few days, and now he comes out and eats off my fingers as well. I have to watch him though he eats the food from the Ricordea's mouths.
heres same old zoo's with frag of new multizoo's from Finding nemo. The buy one get one free deal, so technically he was
Heres the Ric's i got from snowsrfr and a tag along false anemone

Heres the Zoo colony from Snowsrfr as well. For some reason, they all have a mind of their own and open on their own accord.

another frag of candy cane coral or something like that from Finding nemo....technically $5 after buy one get one free.

The other 2.50 frag from Find Nemo.  ID PLEASE??? If you look close Their are two little frags, and littlest  guy has already grown of his base and pulled completely off the main piece in only a weeks time.

These guys started growing out of the rock randomly....some sort of mushroom?? ID PLEASE????

and one more of Omen need knife.......finding nemo backwards.

Two things I wouldve done differently from the start of this tank.....
1.  Gone bigger from the start.  (probably 65-100 gallon)
2.  Gotten a bigger filter, and one that does leave microbubbles (anyhelp) or even done a sump or fuge. (i can put in later when funds are available, actually turn the tank now into a fuge)

Thanks for all the help and knowledge here and all over the web.

Very nice job on the zip tie!

The percula is gorgeous!  Where did you get it from?

I love your zoo collections, but the ricordeas are the best.

Just a word of warning: the small anemone is a pest.  It is commonly referred to as tulip anemones, and is a variation of the majano anemomes.  It is nice looking; but has a potent sting, multiplies real fast and moves everywhere to invade the tank, kills off everything that it comes in contact with.  I started out with one and three years later got thousands of them in my tank.  When I moved the tank to my new house, I had to cook the rocks in the dark for more than a week to kill them off.  I would take it out if I were you.

There are many people on the board that are trying to get rid of them.

Once you hosted the pics, you have to put the pic address in between and the pics will show up.

Very nice pics by the way!

Hah, thanks good to know.  I had two growing in one of my rocks. Came outta nowhere, and then when i got the rics, it had it on em.  All see what i can do to off them.  yeah, i love the rics.. smaller in person, but i want to get a little ric colony over in the corner.  The perc was at aquatica in Provo, and Sean had it hidden in bottom tank. Out of sight.  Hes pretty funny. I want to get a friend for him/anemone but not debating how well my reefing skills and how small my tank is, im a little worring about what problems the anemone might cause.

Once you hosted the pics, you have to put [img], then paste in the pic address, then put [/ img] at the end, and the pics will show up (no space in between the / and the img)

Very nice pics by the way!

Updated photos.  Some are of the same. Painted back awhile back. Coraline is covering everything now.  The two Firefish didn't want to make an appearance.

Here is what i was talking about...this palythoa closes out on himself....it sometimes is very tight and looks like he is strangling himself to death.......anyone seen this before??

I really like the variety on the zoos Clap

My palys do that "close up" thing, too - don't know why but it doesn't seem to hurt them

Keep up the good work! Big%20smile
