Topic: strip magnets inside tank Posted: April 09 2007 at 11:19am |
|
I've got a project that I'd like to do to my tank using strip magnets. I was wondering if anyone knew if those would be safe in the tank. What about the adhesives? Will I be safe using the adhesives that come with the strip manget or should I silicone them on?

if the magnets were encased in a 2 part epoxy I think that it would be fine then.

hmmm, sounds like more work or risk than I'm willing to do. I'll have to think on it. I just want to use them to hold down some netting at the top or the tank so the fish don't jump out.

I have looked at Tileman's post. It won't work for my setup. Only the netting will.

Would it work to put elastic around the edge of the netting and strech it over the tank?
