Just anywhere in low light, but more importantly high food.

FWIW, I've had mine for almost two months now- I use a turkey baster
and mysis shrimp, melt the shrimp in tank water and squirt that water
over the polyps. Within about 10-15 minutes they're fully polyped
out, and then I feed the shrimp. I feed them 3-4 times a week,
and the number of polyps has almost doubled already. I've got
mine placed under a rock overhang, but half of them are exposed to the
PCs daily and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I fed mine every other day with turkey baster and a mix of 3 diff sizes of golden pearls and live photo plankton. Tease them by feeding your fish and then about 1/2 later give them 1/2 the mix and then in an 1/2 when they are out the other. Dont blast them with it just get it in their direction..

oops I forgot. Use only aquarium water when mixing. Tap water is not as appealing to them..

Ditto!
I don't think they care about light, one way or the other...
