Hey ever since I got 14K's I have had like 3 different kinds of macro algae
pop up. I have found names for all except this one. sorry it was in a little
tiny gap in my rock so the pics suck. this is the only cool macro my snails
wont eat.

Could be caulerpa racemosa... hard to tell with the pic.

Never mind I found it... it is Acetabularia crenulata (Mermaid's Wineglass,
Polyphysaceae)

Sorry, but I have to disagree. If you look a little further down on that web page you will see that it more closely resembles Caulerpa Peltata. It has rhizomes (lateral runners) and rhizoids (roots) just like all Caulerpa.

I will have to get a better pic of mine. some how. but the way mine grows
it isnt attached to each other they are little stems attached to the rock.
they dont have a main root like caulerpa.
