I did the same thing and looked on ebay for my RODI. Eventually it came down to replacement parts. Are parts and filters from BRS going to fit this RODI? Who knows how long the seller on ebay will be around for. I bought mine through BRS because i know its a lasting company with awesome customer service. Id suggest checking out their line of RODI units. just my 2 cents.

I third that. Buy quality from a company that you know isn't going to leave you high and dry. BRS has a 10% off sale going on this weekend to save even more.

Thanks for the .02 c. Looks to be an industry standard of a 10" cartridege. Looks like BRS is happy to sell me a universal filter replacement if they do go out of business :)

Kinda pricey... BUT... you get what you pay for and the digital meters are nice, and it comes with EVERYTHING..... flush valve, Float and all! ( In further review I dont know if this one has the digital gauges as the one purchases was the Deluxe version).

You cant go wrong buying this unit from Kody72 and you'll also save a wad of cash (if the filters and membrane have any life left in them).
It's a common, standard unit that takes common, standard filter cartridges and membranes that can be purchased economically at Amazon.com with free shipping. These units do not have any movable mechanical parts so they last forever. There's no need to worry about repair parts, but again, Kody's is a common unit.

RO/DI units are fairly easy to understand if you give it a chance. I'm happy to answer questions via text or voice. My number is below.

I do believe that looks exactly like the one I bought off eBay years ago, I've loved it. One of my canisters broke off recently when I restarted it and we just bought a replacement I also found cheap filter replacements on eBay that fit
