is there any specific method to use when your toppping off your tank so the fresh water wont harm or disrupt any of my corals?
 
i have been just pouring it into my filter/pump but it made my xenia hella shrivel up because the blower head from the pump blew strait freshwater at it.

I often pour a gallon right into the tank near a pump.

Install an ato so you don't have to top it off manually?

Xenia shrivel up all the time for whatever reason. I wouldn't worry about them too much. I poor mine right into the sump.

I pour straight into the tank. Freshwater is lighter than saltwater so it sits on top for a few moments until it gets mixed in. I wouldn't worry. A good storm drops freshwater into the ocean and coral seem to survive.Smile
