Well i'm back! After a couple year break i've decided to get back in this crazy hobby! For those of you who don't know or remember me, i'm Brett. I live in North Salt Lake and am a Realtor by profession. I'm excited to be back in the hobby and look forward to meeting and interacting with you all!

Well here is my project. A Red Sea Reefer 625 XXL. Display volume is 133 gallons with a total water volume of 165. 59"X23.6"X25.6".

I"ll be doing a video series that i'll link here with my progress and I'll be updating this regularly as I get things assembled and as other equipment starts coming in. Thanks!

I got the stand mostly assembled and the tank put in place. I still need to adjust the feet on the stand to make sure its level. Once thats done I can put the base pieces in the stand, put the sump in and plumb it. Once its all plumbed and water tested i'll put the doors on.

Oh and I also got some equipment :)

Equipment so far:
2X Ecotech Radion XRW30 Gen4 Pros
2X Ecotech RMS mounting kits
2X Ecoteck MP40 Quiet Drive
Ecotech M1 Return Pump
Neptune Apex Controller with WXM
Bubble-Magus Curve 7

I would recommend adding water to the tank and leveling feet before throwing the bases and sump inside the stand...this is coming from personal experience with this tank.  I set mine up and then leveled as you are, but then once i added water to the main display and sump (basically had it running) it was pretty out of level compared to my initial adjustments.  I had to painfully remove the sump and re-level - making sure to keep the display full of water this time.  It is too bad they didn't make the adjustable feet for the stand accessible once the sump is in place...

Well i got a bunch done today and thought i'd share.

Stand leveled, base shelves installed, sump installed, tank completely plumbed.

Doors installed

200 Lbs of "real reef" live rock delivered. I will probably only use 100 or less lbs. I want a minimalist scape.

Let there be light!

Conflicted feelings on this build - love that you are doing a tank again and sad it's not frogs either :D

This is going to look amazing, you are using some of the best equipment.  Real Rock is Awesome stuff.  Great job!

What kind of coral and fish are you planning?
