Is enamel acrylic latex paint ok to use for painting a stand for my saltwater tank?  I was just wondering if the paint will bubble if the salt water gets on it.  I put the first coat on it today, and dont want to finish my project set my tank up, and then have to take it down because the paint is bubbling.  Does anyone know if this paint is ok for my stand, or do I need to get some kind of clear coat so the paint dosent bubble.
Thanks

Finish painting it, and then get some Spar Urethane (the stuff to waterproof decks.etc) from home depot. Make sure to coat it a couple times with that and you will be fine.

Urethane isn't compatible with Latex. Best paint is either an oil based or lacquer based paint. Both can be clear coated.

Thanks for the help, I went to Lowes and get a clear coat that is made to protect against water, and it is able to be used on latex paint.  I will keep you updated on how things are going.
Thanks
