Hi all,

I was wondering if someone knows of a good skimmer for a 20 gallon that just hangs on the tank instead of going inside or in a sump. Any ideas for a size? I havent done much looking into one yet but do they have a flow rating or something associated with them?

What are you hoping to see happen with the use of a skimmer on a 20 gal?
Are there any problems currently?

I havent seen any problems that have caused major issuses (other than a shrimp and chromis dying). As i said, i'm not to well read into them so far so information on why i would need one would be good too. I just see so many using one that i wonder if it would help me too.

On a 20g you don't really need a skimmer, but it definitely can't hurt. I run a skimmer on our 29g biocube as an insurance policy.
