Aquatic Dreams has sea hares. And all I can say is wow. This thing is an algea eating machine. Have a little hair with a little cyano mixed in and the hair cleaned it right up. What a great addition to the tank. I will post pics later.

Sea Bunnies: The missing link in reef aquariums! To set up your own plankton-producing egg farm, you'll need a pair of the egg-laying opisthobranch snail grazers we call Sea Bunnies (because they reproduce so much). These prodigious algae eaters and egg layers are a great source of egg strands which hatch into swimming veliger larvae, providing food for your suspension feeding corals, anemones, clams, feather dusters, etc. A simple 10-gallon tank with one fluorescent tube and an undergravel filter are recommended for starting your Sea Bunny egg farm; in fact, you can put up to three mated pairs of Sea Bunnies in a single 10-gallon setup!

That is it. What a machine. Cleans hair algae up fast. I didn't have much but in a day it has gone through just about all I have in my tank. Just a few more spots and I will throw him in my fuge to clean it up. But definitely a good purchase.

He was $9. Not too sure on the eating but I think it will also clean the sand, because I have seen it crap sand too as well as eat off the glass and rocks.

Well at this rate the hare will deplete my algae in about a week. Might have to make him a community hare. Shane H. has next dibs when the monster cleans me out. I will keep posting for others to borrow him.

Anybody need one?  I have one ready to return to fish 4 U in about a week.  I could trade him for a frag.  He's huge.
