When I bought my T5's.  I followed the recommendation of the LFS as to what lights I purchased.  I was just wondering if this selection is the best.  Front to back 8 lights total, 2 fixtures.

Pure actinic
Aqua blue +
actinic +
? ( this one has no name on label)

Everything in the tank is doing great.  Just wondering if I can enhance everything a bit with a small change.

Kody, they are gieseman

Mark, one of Ryans tanks at AD has some neon candy cane that look better than mine.  He is running t5's that he said that he hasn't changed in a long time.  He was to busy to talk much to.
No, I did not notice Dion's arrangement.  When I seen his tank I had already purchased my bulbs from AD.  I just went with their recommendations.

bur01014, are the ATI another brand?

OK. Giessman is a great brand. I have both ATI and Giessman and either is a great choice. (again everyone has their own opinions.)

I went with Aquatic Dreams suggestions and then change around a little till I was thrilled with the look and color.

On my ATI fixture I went with Ryan's idea and changed it a lot.

Everyone has their opinion and color choices. Its up to you to find your sweet spot.

No opinions here...

ATI = Cheaper $$$ & Provides Greatest Usable Light (PAR)

Simple Fact.

I see no need to buy anything else....

As for my opinion....

I've ran both Giesemann and ATI....my opinion is Colors are supreme with running Blue Plus and Purple Plus Bulbs....I would consider these bulbs a must in any T5 line up.

I think I have around 20 T5 bulbs....brands ranging from ATI, Giesemann, UVL, etc.....you are welcome to borrow some to test out the different color mixes...then just buy new bulbs of that mixture....

Cheers

I have also heard others comment on the led stunner strips.  Would these compliment my current setup, since my bulbs are new, then just go with one of the previous suggestions when I am ready to change bulbs.
