Considering purchasing 2x of these for my rimless project I just started....

Anyone know of any in UT... would 2 be enough over a 65 gallon rimless 36x18x24 (LxWxD)?  Supposedly they replace a 150 W MH and the reviews on marinedepot are incredible as well as the build quality and general look to them.  Not dimmable supposedly capable of it but for legal reasons (patents) they are unfortunately not dimmable.  Anyone???

Also interested in anyone with experience with a singe point source LED like this, i.e. a light cannon, not 65 different LED's spaced 4 inches apart, but a single point LED source that is VERY bright, like 30-50W.

Really, really really like the idea, I have some LED and it looks ok but in terms of shimmer and distribution of light and color, this product looks like it rocks.

THanks

The Kessil really are great. I'd also look into the Blue Moon fixtures. I may have one you can try out.

I am thinking that with my new tank being a 65 rimless. The Oceanic 36x18x24 LxWxH that in the Kessile confit I would need two. I have a lot of corals and SPS that will be moving. They are in a BioCube 29 with Two supplemental Panorama LED strips from EcoXotic. One 445 nm and one blue white mixed. I have no idea how much light this is, but I am growind about three different SPS Frags on my sand, a Birds of paradise, two pocclopora (spelling help), and a Idaho Grape montipora. Granted none of these are light hogs but my guess is with a 24 in deep tank I am going to want two????

You mention Ecoxotic elsewhere. Thus far they are only selling the Cannon pendant and they are wicked pricey and I am unsure of colors etc. Any rumor of a pendant from Ecoxotic? Or just new versions of the arrays? Curious. I have two Ecoxotic LED Panorama modules. love them. would love to see a pendant type point source from them.

Don't think they have a new pendant any time soon. But the new panoramas are looking very promising.
