T5 101? what is spectrum&PAR?

i just looked at the panorama pros. They have exactly the same leds as AI. The rgb models have even been stated by the company that they should not be used as the primary lighting source. Im not sure what you are referring to when you say limited spectra because all LEDs have that... And thats one of the reasons to have them. Tuneable spectra to get light where you want it. It doesnt matter where the LEDs are made as long ss they are to the same standard quality. adding optics will do what you stated IF you leave it too close to the tank. Thats why many people move the fixture higher when they have optics. The wider the optics, the closer you can be. Thanks for reminding me to add this bit of info.
