Topic: Anyone build custom glass tanks? Posted: April 27 2005 at 11:33pm |
I'm wondering if anyone around here builds custom glass tanks. I want
to replace my small cube w/ a bigger one for my zoos... I dont have a
ton of time to build it myself.

There was someone on this MB that does that. It was mentioned last year I believe. If you find them with a search and their number isn't available, call me to see if I have it in the database.

There is a guy down in Orem that builds custom acrylic, and I think Marine Aquatics will build one too.

I don't know if you're a fan or not, but MSM touts their expertise at building custom tanks. (glass I believe) Why does it need to be custom? Are limited by space or trying something new and unique? We're all intrigued Corey.

Oh .. I just wanted ti to fit the space and match my other euro-braced tanks.
I thought that MSM sold Lee Mar tanks .. I'll have to give them a call.

Can't wait to see
That should look awesome!! But we all know you're going to have...
Your show tank (120 gallon)
Your new tank (90??)
Your current SPS (60 gallon)
and your little cuttings/frag tank (10-15?)
I'm sure you couldn't get rid of a tank. Time to take out your big screen
TV, put in a Huge tank, and turn the wash room into a Sump room

I'm with Xacttech on this one Corey. Loose the big screen and put the tank there. You know you would watch the tank a lot more!

LOL ... I dont think so! However, If i could do It all over again ... I
would get a projector and have a screen that came down in front of a
tank in that spot!
