LEAK!

bummer! Is it high enough you could bring the water level down to work on it?

Honestly, I would fix it. It really sucks to drain your reef down to half, but my friend had a similar experience and the super glue he tried to use to fix it did not last. The last thing you want is that pin-sized hole to become a burst seam.

So if I did drain it to that point, then what?

No disrespect intended to anyone here but what I meant is to replace/repair one section of old silicone is one thing but all the silicone on the tank is just as old and has the same chance of failing. What if you replace the silicone on that seam and another pops up? not good. All I am saying is if there is a bad seam of silicone I personally would either get another tank or find out a way to reseal the entire tank. emptying the tank half way to repair a seal is pointless in my opinion. That is probably just me though, I was always taught if your going to do a job then do it right the first time so you don't have to do it again. just my $.02

It is in the seem and it is tiny. 

You could try to put a new seam on the inside and outside if you took the water level to about 1 inch below the pinhole. putting the silicone on then pushing it through the pinhole with your finger. Let dry then fill it back up but I think I would stop using superglue. I am not sure if it will eat the silicone or damage it more.

Pete I was not aware that she was having a baby or was unable to replace the tank itself my apologies. I get a little carried away sometimes.

Camille, do you want Aaron and I to come over and do it for you? We can be there as early as tomorrow afternoon. I think the earlier you get this done the better. It'll be smelly for a  bit but the problem will hopefully be solved.

Ya, glue it and seal it. After all, it's what silicone does. I'd let those offering to come help with it. Even if it's temporary, it's better than a leak :)
