We've got two MP60's on our 265G and one MP40 on our 75G. However, I won't be around this weekend.

I live in Bountiful if you don't find someone closer. Have an MP40. Those who complain about the noise level do not have them seated properly. When I turn everything else off in my tank except for my MP40 all I can hear is a VERY quiet hum.

Rfoote and Molli, thanks for the offer, Heber/Bountiful are
a little too far, and thanks for the tip on the proper seating Molli.
Badfinger, yes they are going on a 65 gallon, I have been considering the MP40 only
because I think I could run it at a lower setting so it wouldnt be as loud as
the 2 MP10s running at a higher speeds. I do have a Sea Swirl which rotates my return flow and my return is
pushing 550 to 600 gph after head loss. Dionysus, I have looked at the Tunze 6105
or two 6055s with the 7096 controller and will go that route if these Vortechs
are too loud. I will check out Aquarium Creations in Draper as it looks like he is
closest, available this weekend, and has the Vortechs up and running on tanks.
Thanks everyone!

I had an mp10es and it was my favorite piece of equipment. I could only hear it when I had it at 100% power or when return pump, and fans were off.

I have two MP40's on the tank at work and I can't turn them up without serious sandstorm issues. They are really quiet unless they were bumped and misaligned. Great setup.

not sure if you found a set to look at but I have a pair of MP40s on my 90 gallon now. I live in Riverton, right near Bangater and 12600 south. Give me a hollar if you want to come look at mine. Only had them a couple of weeks but they seem quiet and pretty damn solid.
