I'm curious if anyone has had experience with BeamsWork LED lighting fixtures.  I have a FW tank that I have been using an old Coralife PC fixture on for the last little while.  The tank is fairly deep (40 gal. stretch hex), but it is not planted - so lighting needs are minimal.  I would like to replace the PC fixture with LEDs and came across this unit: http://www.aquatraders.com/LED-Reef-Bright-p/56213.htm

Any thoughts?  Again, not going over a reef tank, doesn't need to be perfect for corals, just needs to be cool looking and reliable.  They have a FW light as well (400 vs 1600 lumens) but I'm afraid it wouldn't put out enough light for my taste.

Thanks in advance for any input ...

From what I've seen they're nearly identical to the marineland led systems, reviews generally say they're the same thing. If you're wanting to see what a marineland fixture looks like over a tank they have some over their stock tanks at Fish 4 U, could give you some reference to go by.

I had the reef bright 32 over my 46 bowfront and was growing lps and softies. It is identical to the marineland. Nice light. I would think it would do great for a.planted tank ;)

I went with a T5 fixture. Old-school.
