Topic: Tank with red splotches Posted: August 12 2014 at 3:10pm |

I have a rescue tang that has developed red body splotches. Some days are better than others. Unfortunately it is in a 29 gallon. I have been treating its hlle with good diet. That issue is improving. Any thoughts?

It is a yellow tang, and about small-medium in size. Other 2 fish are a fairy wrasse and clownfish.

Internal bleeding is my best guess without photos or a better description. Are the splotches the same size and shape? Are they wounds or external to the fish? Do they move? How is the fish acting?

Here is a pic of the tang. The red blotches are mostly on the rear of the tang.
