I am going to be setting up either a 95 gallon tall or a standard 100 gallon aggressive tank ... do I still need a simmer, fuge, and all that or cal I just get a bio-ball filled sump? ...

Also .. what would the issue be if I where to connect the aggressive tank into my current sump for my reef tank? ... I know people who have done this and seem to have no issues at all .. however I worry about the waist effecting my SPS in the reef system.

last but not least ... should I use live rock in my aggressive tank? .. or can I just put sand in there ... and seed it with some sand from the reef tank or fuge?? ... I would like to get some Utah Rock if anyone has any available ...

Thoughts????

I would use live rock or seed some dead rock. I think hooking it up to your other tank's sump would be a great way to go.

I would do a bigger tank. At least a 125g and a 180 would be even better. Most people use a sump with a skimmer, uv sterilizer and filter sock.

You'll definately want to use a filter sock on your aggressive tank, those big fish make a big mess.  Just hook it up!!   LOL
