I Need a 250W HQI bulb!!!! .. anyone have one that I can use for a day or so? ...

Curious why you would consider a light bulb an emergency?
 
Stormy weather can sometimes last for a week, decreasing light on the reef. The organisms can handle it.
 
If it's for the Refugium, I wouldn't sweat that either. Any light will do in a pinch. What about those extras of mine?

Well .. ya your are right ... I still have 1 light working over the 140 ... I will buy a new bulb tomorrow ... I just hope the socket is ok ... the 1 end of the bulb came apart .. and it was arching ... the connection in the socket dose not look pitted .. but it is a differant color ... you think that will be ok?
 
I cant use Mogal socket bulbs in a HQI fixture ... I wish I could ...
 
 
I need to get them back to you though ... are you going to be around tomorrow?
