Hey!

I'm about 1 week away from setting up my system now, it's all been ordered yadda, yadda, yadda....

Does anyone have any feelings about "Oddysea Lighting" set ups?

I have been reading some negative press on them.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations on lighting as far as brands?

I am looking to light a 210 gallon with fish and corals (too much of a novice to say what kind right now)

I want something reliable and flexible and I would rather pay a little more now than have to replace what I have later.

When I was looking for my light fixture for my tank, I read the same stuff on them.  Come take a look at my light. You wont be sorry spending the extra money the first go around.  Its cheaper in the long run.

Spend the extra few bucks and get the good stuff ... its worth it just do to the fact that you will end up replacing it with the good stuff anyway ... trust me ... I learned the hard way ... I ended up replacing a good 45% of my stuff because I bought cheep crap ....

I really like the Aqua Medic stuff .. and there support is outstanding!

I really like the Odyssea Fixtures (how is it spelled?).  I bought a few and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.  I was very pleased with the company and with my product.

Will -

Is this the company that LaDawn bought her MH fixture from? It seemed pretty nice for the money?

I purchased Sunlight Supply lighting and have been very pleased with the quality and price.  Check them out at sunlightsupply.com or their resellers for further info.  If you want high end then maristar is the way to go.

I purchased an Odyssea PC fixture from aquatraders.com, other than a slightly noisy fan (it isn't noisy all the time) it has been a good fixture.  My only complaint was the legs that it came didn't fit my 24" wide tank very well.
