Red Sea Nitrate/Phosphate Measurment kits???

So at reef show, I was talking to the Red Sea guys and was introduced to their nitrate measurment kit. It seems very low range and with high precision. The maximum ppm that it had was 4. I am used to using the test kits that have precisions in units of 10 ppm. So you either have a measurement of 0,10,20,30,40... . I have an issue was some nuisance algae and was thinking about the vodka dosing. But before jumping into the dosing I thought maybe I needed a better way to measure the nitrates in my tank.

Have any of you used the Red Sea kit? What do you think of it?

I used to have one and it was great but my nitrates finally got to consistently zero so I am back to API kits for cheaper. Before you start dosing vodka how big is your tank and what inhabitants are in there? I really dont see a need to do vodka dosing unless you are overpopulating your tank and absolutely need to do it to keep them down. From what I have read it can be pretty risky. But if you have a ton of living things in there I think it sounds like an awesome way to keep everything you have and keep levels in check. Just my opinion though as I have never tried it. Just researched it. I keep mine at zero in a pretty populated 65 with no sump so I think it can be done. And depending on livestock I think keeping nitrates at about 5ppm can be a good thing if you have lots of softies and LPS. But SPS do not like it. I am sure you know what your doing just wanted to chime in and give my 2 cents.   

This week is crazy busy for me. Next week is almost completely free. So if you can wait a week, lets do that.
