this morning when i woke up my angel and tang were on there sides gasping for air. they went in the middle of the night. last night they were swimming around just fine. the ich was pretty much gone. im thinkin something else went out of whack. im checkin it as soon as my test kit gets here. poor fish went down the toilet. they were fighting for the last couple days so maybe that had something to do with it.

Geez, I thought things were doing better. Maybe it was just too late. Sorry to hear of your loss.

You can bring them over here.  I'll keep them for you as long as you need.

What are your water parameters?  Is it just fish that are struggling or do you have corals that are dying also?  Did a piece of equipment stop working, especially a pump?

no i made the noob mistake and went to fast and did not have the natural filtration. in one of the other posts titled help with a bta... in invertebrates i put in my parameters. i got a bunch of algae and LR and LS from mark and he was up here checkin it all out last night. the clowns are extremely happy now and diamond goby is fine too. my one chromis looks a little freaked out but should be fine. my corals look ok to me but im new!

If you got some live sand, water and macro algae from an established tank like Mark's, and things are looking better, then you should be fine.  I would be more careful not to overfeed for the next few weeks at least as the nitrifying bacteria colonies establish themselves.

Some corals can handle quiet a bit, like some mushrooms and zoos as an example.  Just keep an eye on the corals, and your parameters.
