Please call ASAP. It came from Hawaii and is going in the tank within the next 1/2 hour.

Hmm, research before you buy, hmm, Mark must be the recipiant of a free mailing of 3" Green Bird Wrasses. Or mayhaps he is "Wrasse Sitting" for a less fortunate soul.
Either way I have not heard good things about Bird Wrasses being Reef safe.

Yes, a member called me after having just returned from Hawaii this morning, where he picked up a few fish. He has a $40 trio of flasher wrasses that were scooped up together, going into his reef.
I figure that shrimp (hermits, snails?) are food for the GBW. I usually see them much larger than this so even if it doesn't eat any now, it will.
Well I just called him back and it went into his reef 10 seconds before I called. I guess we'll find out!

If it doesn't work out for you I've been looking into getting one.

Adam, I believe those of us who know you, even just a little, already knew your answer. Thanks. I'll try to get a pic next time I'm there. This is the tank featured in my "How to eliminate bad algae" thread. We'll see what this does to the algae.
