Where should I put featherdusters?

Up in the rocks?

Down on the substrate?

Buried in the sand so their heads pop out?

What do they like best?

Anyone know?

Honestly they like it anywhere. I have a farm of them growing in one of my tanks. They have no lighting requirements so they'll be fine. I have them on the bottom of rocks, in the sand, on top of rocks. Most of my biggest ones are growing in the sand.
