I know its hard to see but I will make a crappy attempt at paint to outline it on the next pic.  It opens similar to a feather duster, grabs some particle and closes for a second.  Rinse and repeat.  It is obviously irritating this candy cane polup and the polyp next to it.  Any help in identifying and eradicating it?

Barnacle!  They're harmless filter feeders.  Cool to have and watch.  Smile  Corals grow around them usually with few problems.

So the coral is fine once it grows around it a little? It look so mad right now though!
