I would like someone experienced to look at my anemone. I believe my tank is too young and he might need babysat until my new tank syndrome is over....

Acid rain BTA. (Fancy name. Who knows what it is.) 3 months. I use RO/DI water and RedSea Coral Pro salt. I did a water change about 10 days ago. I usually change 30% every 2 weeks. Inhabitants are 2 maroon clowns, royal gramma, and a paired pistol and watchman.      I was feeding him 2-3 mysis shrimp every day. Did I over feed him? Force a split? 78° and 1.026 salinity.

I have a skkye light over my 10 gal. Well.... Now he looks great first thing in the morning.  This is what I am REALLY excited for.  I am running fresh water and vinegar in display only. Wanted to ensure no leaks. Plumbing soon. I would love some help deciding how to run my overflows.

Clownfish will bite or suck in the tentacles. That is normal behavior. I never found out why. After going the anemone route years ago, I found that using frog spawn or other LPS can be a great alternative. Now all of my clownfish host in my frog spawn.

Red sea coral pro had really high levels of Calc/alk/mag. If you're doing 30% water changes every couple of weeks and there's nothing in the water to use the elements, I bet you're parameters are staying that high. I personally found that the red sea coral pro parameters were too high so now I use a mix of the coral pro and the blue bucket.

Alright, I'll try a water change with instant ocean plain mix and see if he comes back out. He's closed up tight right now. I put a plastic mesh guard to protect from the maroon. Doesn't seem to be helping. Does anyone want to babysit while my tank chugs a long for a couple weeks?!

Can you test the parameters in your tank? Also, you don't to suddenly change as the shock will be bad too. You'll want to do it gradually.

The Aqueon LED light you have ie great for freshwater or marine fish only (not enough light and wrong color spectrum for coral/anemones). Anemones need a lots of light! Maroon clownfish are some times rough on an anemone especially if it is small, make sure they don't pick on it too much. Before changing salt and other changes i would suggest doing some water testing rather than just guessing.
