Ok Ive had this hammer coral for a couple of weeks now and for the first week it look great! But now it doesn't come out all the way like it did when I first put it in. And now I notice one of the little hammers floating around my tank. This is the second time its done this in the last few days. Is this normal? Or what is going on? I have never seen this before. The rest of my corals look great and are doing fine but something is up with this hammer.

I agree with wickedsnowman, hammers like lower current.
