HEY I am getting a 180 soon we ordered it and all. but I wanted to NOt
have those annoying powerheads.. so I am going to make a spray bar.
but question is how many GPH should you have for your tank. and how
much GPH to distribute water thrue the whole spray bar. I am going to get
ball socket nozels so I can send out the water equally thrue the whole
thing but I am sure I would need a even larger pump then was planned
for just the 180 alone.

the tank is L60" X W25" X H 30". So the spray bar will be 60X 25. I am
going to have 10 nozels through out the whole tank.

sO the reall question is how much GPH should the pump be for the 180 X
the measurments of the spray bar... I want very high water flow for the
SPS.

I want it to have the same flow of the power heads just not the dead
inverts and fish the sometimes get stuck in them. I had a GBTA that got
cut in half... he is still alive but cut in half.

that is EXACTLY what I was going to do. except I found some peices that
will help me hook the chail link things like you have on your normal
returns, to hook up to the pvc so if I have to move it I can.

I wanted to turn them so they can make a big circle around the tank or
even have them in randon places. I want it so I can move them around.
but that is it.. I would like to come check that out where do you live?

It's called Lockline and that is just what I was going to suggest. The barbed fittings showing in the pics will be impossible to adjust.
