I saw that. The Gyre must be making an impact and they want to try and turn that back around. Amazing what a little competition will do! Krazie

A little competition is a very good thing. If Jabeo were to get there items able to plug and play with controllers, I think that would all play a huge roll in pricing.

Some of us have taken care of that part for ourselves. Fully controlled Jabao pumps and powerheads is quite easy to do with an Apex. Krazie

When you say easy ;) are you referring to you and your skill set or an average person lacking in this type change. Is this something if I were to get an apex you could help me do or do you have any fee for doing such things.

Jebao has an adapter for the apex. You can control their dc, wp and rw pumps.

reefer,
Lets do it together. I want to put two Jebaos in my 45. I am using a MP40 in there now (it is 1 of 2 for the 210g) and it is too much. I want to put two smaller Jebaos in it and control it with the apex. I will go first and then when you are ready will help you do it. I bet Kazie will give us pointers and there is a ton of info on the web on this setup.

I'd suggest you purchase one first and see how it works for you. I'm not sure you could even turn two down low enough for a 45 gallon tank to not have too much flow. That would be way too much flow. I have two in a 4 foot long tank and they are turned way down with still quite a wave.

Molli you think two Jebao WP-10 are too much for a 45 gallon tank? I thought they would be about perfect on a controller running assorted program in a 24 hour period like I have the MP40 doing now. The MP40 is never run over 40% but the tank takes that no problem and would not want less flow than I am getting now.

Yes I do. Way too much. You can always purchase another pump if you think you don't have enough flow with only one.

Molli, Will start with one and see how it does. Concerned with dead spots and the ability to make waves with only one on one wall. Wanted to run two in a non sync mode to have a tidal wave effect. What are you running and in what size tank/s? Are you running any programmed effects?

So if a brand new MP40 is $300 now, that means we should see some used ones for $200-ish. That is an amazing price for that pump. I'm kind of annoyed I paid $465 for mine lol

About this item This new product from Jebao allows for you to control 2 RW, DC or WP series pumps using the 0-10v output from an aquarium controller. The default connector will hook up to an Apex, however any controller with a 0-10v output will work, you simply need an ethernet cable to connect to the adapter. Each pump can be controlled independently, and you can use the power supply already included with the pump to power the adapter. Each adapter includes a 6 month US warranty.
Just a little info about the Jabeo being controlled with a controller. Getting excited I have a little more fire power as to why getting one would be a great thing.
