I have been seeing these tiny little flatworms on the surface of my glass for almost 3 months now... The tank is my 6g mr aqua tank and has only a few stalks of kenya, a sea whip, and a bunch of macro. Only livestock is a handful of snails. The flatworms dont appear to be on the macro, the few kenya stalks, or the sea whip... just on the glass.
The corals came from my reef tank which i have never seen a flatworm in there. Im under the assumption that they must have hitchiked on some of the macroalgae? A quick google search turned me to a reef central thread with another reefer having similar scenario and people there seemed to think the flatworms were eating pods or cyano and/or diatoms.. has anyone heard of this?
I couldn't get a clear pic with my cell phone but the google search found a pic that looks just like it...
