I have a 25 gallon cube with a 25 gallon sump/refugium and I have mostly zoanthids and palys and would like to add some shrimp and/or crabs because I like to watch and photograph them. I was planning on Sexy shrimp but have recently learned they frequently eat zoas. Hermit crabs climb on them so they close up. Maybe Anemone/Porcelain crabs? Any other suggestions?

I also plan to have a Tenaka Possum wrasse and a couple Dragonface Pipefish.

Thanks for the help.

A pom pom crab would be fun. I'm not sure if there little anemones might sting your zoa's though.

Thanks Micah, I would worry about the pipefish being stung too.

I have Coral banded in my tanks with no issues with them. Peppermint Shrimp do well. Scarlet crabs are usually ok as long as they have things to eat other than the zoa's. Emerald crabs as well. Glass shrimp (although your wrasse might think they are lunch).
