Is that a hippo Tang? I've never heard of a hippo clam.

The latin name is Hippopus - they have the same requirements of any other clam.

High lighting, good water quality, no predators. The larger they are the more food they get from the lighting, if you get a smaller one you will have to supplement feed with Phytoplankton.

I think I read in another post that you have PC for lighting.

I would stay away from clams right now.

Also the clam on ebay doesn't look like it is doing all that well, and the one behind it is already on its way to the big lagoon in the sky.

Hippos don't require high light, they do require a mature tank, with
decent corraline growth though. They feed on Phyto, and need good
calcium levels. They also get HUGE, so beware...
