I'm barely scratching the surface of LED technology, but it excites the heck out of me. I'm considering these LED's for my 1st build over a FW 155 bowfront.

They aren't nearly as bright as u guys are using for corals (800-900 lumens/meter[60 leds]), but I bring it up here wondering if they would be a viable option for moon lights or something. They are prestrung very close together (20/ft) on flexible, cutable, self-adhesive strips. If my math is correct (and I wouldn't trust it

) it only uses 1.2w/foot. They have 120 degree optics.
If I order these, I would use (2) 6' strips or 240 leds. what's the cheapest driver I could use?
Oh, and if u think these lights are garbage, feel free to say so.

BTW how do I make that site a hot link?
