I woke up this morning and some dang Cerith Snails had done it again. I fed the tank in the dark last night and this is what I get. There were three of these new egg masses on the glass this morning. This one was laid right over the top of yesterday's eggs.

Yes, when I've changed tanks, I've found small ceriths in the LS.

And btw, a friend and I counted a segment and estimated 10,000 eggs in a 6" string.

That's way cool Mark! I have read that if you put the eggs in the refugium alot of them will develop

At one time, I probably had about 3000 baby ceriths. They are very successful breeders in our tanks. Red Slime remover, also works well as a baby cerith remover.

They will all develop but most get eaten or demolished by powerheads before you notice.
