K I did my first 10% water change. seen people do them any were from 2 weeks to 1 month it had been bout 5-6 weeks so decided to do it.
question now is there anything I need to do after I have completed this? Do I need to watch my perameters closer again? I been testing them every 2-3 days depending on how things looked.

As long as you are using a good quality salt mix you don't need to do anything different than what you have been.  The water change just helps to remove toxins that build up in the tank and adds back in some of the trace elements that get depleted.
