so im thinking of getting the TEK LIGHT T5 HIGH OUTPUT 4ft / 8 LAMP setup.  so what bulb combonations should i use?
  1. D-D Giesemann Blue Actinic Plus or Blue:
  2. D-D Giesemann Midday:
  3. D-D Giesemann Aquablue:
  4. D-D Giesemann Pure Actinic Plus or True Actinic

it is between this setup and two 150 mh and 2 t5 on a 75 gallon.

I have the 2-150w MH and 2 T-5s and love it.  It probably puts off more heat then the 8 T-5 combo though.

what size is the 78 watt t5?

24" HO T5 = 24 watt
36" HO T5 = 39 watt
48" HO T5 = 54 watt
60" HO T5 = 80 watt
Maybe 78 watt is overdriven 48" on IceCap ballasts?
