Btw it's not "pooping", it does do that but this is something else.  About a month ago I bought a package of silversides to try and entice my RBTA to split.  I've seen the guy get up around 8" across and all bulby, he is gorgeous!  Now though, he hasn't stretched up for the lights or fully opened in about 3 weeks.  He eats the silversides still, I feed 1/2 of one twice a week.  His tentacles aren't stringy either.  Any ideas?  My Nitrates are <10.  My clowns are laying eggs every 7 days like clockwork and they seem to beat him to death when they do it, could that be it?  My hubby thinks because I'm over-feeding him that he just doesn't have to open up anymore, is his theory possible?

Thanks!

I would say yes his theory is possible. That is the first thing that came to mind for me.

gah, I can't tell hubby he was right about a fish issue!  He's a dog person.  Hrm, I wonder if he'll split then.  I want 2!  I'm greedy that way =P

I would only go to once a week feeding and that once a week feeding cut it in half.  But just dont tell your hubby that you cut it down to once a week.
