This is the one that I have on my system.    If you get the 110 volt valve they you can just wire a plug in to your apex to open and close the valve.  From there you can use a normal float in your sump.  This will make it so that you have a double back up on your system. http://www.electricsolenoidvalves.com/categories/plastic-valves/1-4-valves.html
