Hungry Clown...

Yes, I do feed my fish.  However I was intrigued to watch this evening as my clown fish carried out several interesting behaviors.  Fist is the smaller (pressumably male) tried several times to eat a floating aipatasia anemone.  Each time he would swim up to it and look it over then try and take a bite of it.  I know it stung him several times since he would zip away 'shaking' or jerking his head and mouth.  Yet he tried several times in a row...  maybe they taste good?  Secondly I was able to watch the other (the female I believe) go 'hunting' on the rocks.  She would swim up to the rock where I have noticed before many little scurrying things and sit almost motionless except for her eyes.  When some thing was seen she would shoot at the rock and try to eat it.  I simply find it fascinationg to sit and watch my fish tank.  Needless to say this is not what my wife thinks should be my favorite thing to do (something more along the lines of cleaning is what she desires).  Well, now that I've bored you all with my mundane ramblings....

Well, just thought I'd mention a couple things.  One is I am no longer in charge of my fish tank.  The female Amphiprion Ocellaris is.  She will come up and nip at my hand any time I am doing anything in the tank.  If I move towards her, she swims away, then comes right back at me when I go back to my business.

Second, judging by several other posts on the board I've been watching way to much fish porn recently, and will have to stop watching my fish tank.

Third item of business is it's always fun to see where my two Amphiprion Ocellaris have gone to sleep for the night.  Except when they find a spot to sleep that makes it look like they are floating sideways at the top of the tank...
