Have a medium RBTA 4-5 inches when not mad because I have a powerhead on him (it is refusing to move), so we are selling the live rock, the RBTA and everything else on the rock, mushrooms, blue cloves etc. He has been on this rock for quite a while and just won't move (which normally is a good thing), but in the new set-up it just doesn't work.
Asking $40.

How the red tail wrasse? Does it eat your CUC or flip stuff over? Beautiful fish! OK, they're all beautiful fish! The gold flake angel is one of my all time favorites but I've been to chicken to get one. And how often do you see a pair of cross hatch triggers in a tank?!

Thanks for sharing!!

i was considering dosing Prazi today, or trying to pull him and do a FW dip.  Is that too aggressive for the time being?  Like i said, the spots come and go.  I'm running a UV sterilizer and feeding with garlic daily.  He's very active and eats like crazy, both frozen and nori.

thanks for your quick replies!

I was thinking flukes because of location and the line but flukes don't get fuzzy so I'm leaning away from that now. could just be ich which is common and gets fuzzy. He may have rubbed against a rock and it scratched  him in that shape as well.

It looks kinda fuzzy and on top of the skin.  I've noticed similar small patches on the fins, but they come and go pretty regularly.  This is the first time that the patches looked "organized".  It hasnt seemed to get longer or grow, but seems to get fuzzier.

Is it just that one spot? Does it appear to be under the skin or on top of the skin? Is it getting longer or just puffing up more?

Something has upset it the last few weeks and caused it to pale out a bit on top.  It's still fat and growing all around the edges.  I'm moving it to a slightly lower light area of the tank to see if that's the problem.

This whole thing has been tons of fun.  I can't wait until the next one.

It's very interesting to see the numbers on these sensors. I was sure I was putting about 150gph through my carbon reactor. Let's just say it's not even 50.

I agree with Adam, plus, you know from the other thread that I find the best way is to feed the bugs and worms to increase their populations in my systems. Phytoplankton is one of the best things that can be fed and it does not need to be live. My tanks love frozen Tahitian Blend Algae paste from Brine Shrimp Direct. Except for Tridacna Clams, the large animals don't eat it, they just benefit up the food chain.
Back in the day when I grew phytoplankton, none of the present day foods were available. It's only been in the last 10 years or so that we have seen an explosion of nutritious frozen foods and also some micron size prepared foods like BSD Golden Pearls for feeding the animals at the bottom of the food chain.
