I recently bought a LED DIY kit to save some money. After staying up all night soldering countless LED's. I wired the LED's to the ballast, and then the ballast to the potentiometer and then to the power cord. THey turn on but the flash about every second or two. Also if i turn up the "pot" it will just brighten the flashing. Frustrating as all get out. Any help will be needed. Thanks.

I will recommend you look into getting a new potentiometer. Play with it for a little bit, sometimes it stops the flashing. Twist it side to side. Hope that helps. What type of leds did you buy?

Can you give us more information.  What do you mean by ballast?  I used a dc power supply for my LED's.

i had the same issue at some point.. i think it was due to not having enough LEDs in a string so something funky was goin on in the driver.
