So - when I'm ready... which won't be for a while... but was wondering just the same.  Is there a safe way to drill holes in an existing glass tank for the overflow boxes?

Any thoughts on drilling a tank already filled?  Should we pull half the water out - switch livestock to another established tank - and drill?  Or should I call it a wash and get a hang on the back overflow?
