Hi All,

Recently I lost my LTA and one of my true perc clowns.  So the remaining male true perc clown seems to be doing fine during the day, but since his anemone is gone, he sleeps in the very top back corner of the tank as close to the surface as possible and usually on his side.

What do you all think of this?  As soon as the lights come on he moves around the tank just fine.  Think he's missing his home?

Thanks,
Chris

thats normal behavior i had to ocerallis clowns that did not have a Anemone and always slept on the very top of the tank. when the lights turn one they swim normally. you should start worrying when its acting weird during the day

Same here. My clown sleeps in the front corner on the very top, on his side. The first time I saw him like that, I thought he was dead. No, just sleep. When my lights go off for the night, he heads right to that spot. Maybe he feels safe there.

My clown sleeps under this small ledge of a rock next to the mushrooms that he thinks he needs to host in, he also sleeps on his side and freaks me out because I often think he is dead.
